The S-Works TT 5 helmet is the result of extensive collaboration with the world's fastest racers, including Remco Evenepoel and Kasper Asgreen of Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl. Developed through countless hours in Specialized's Win Tunnel, this is the fastest TT helmet the company has ever made. Using CFD modeling, the helmet team reshaped the design by positioning the rear of the helmet nearer to the rider's shoulders, reducing the eddy of air that creates drag and improving aerodynamic performance. The helmet features a Class 1 optics shield that provides zero distortion when looking down the road, unlike traditional drape-formed clear plastic lenses. The shield includes a hydrophobic coating to clear moisture in wet conditions and a high-grade (EN166) anti-fog coating for visibility in all weather. The Occipital Base Adjustment system optimizes comfort by personalizing fit to individual head shape, and the helmet angle can be adjusted for compatibility with glasses. An adjustable Tri-Fix web system with updated, thinner 10mm webbing minimizes strap noise while providing added comfort. The helmet integrates ultralight and supremely comfortable MIPS Node Air technology directly into the helmet padding. A sleek low friction layer is designed to dissipate rotational forces, and Specialized's proprietary perforations maximize breathability, performance, comfort, and weight savings. For helmets sold in the U.S. and Canada, the helmet complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older. A case is included.
