This return policy covers all orders placed through the spiritedcyclist.com website.
Returns may be brought back in person to our retail stores. The return form must have been previously submitted online.
We offer a 30 day return policy on all items. We want to ensure our customers are happy so we only have a few requirements. All items must be in NEW condition with original packaging including all tags. For standard returns, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
Closeout / open box items are not eligible for return. These items are marked closeout on their product pages along with this policy. Additionally, it will notify you in your shopping cart that they are closeout items.
Separate fees, in addition to our standard policy, apply to the categories and products below:
Frames, wheels, wheel sets, bike racks are subject to a 40$ return fee.
Shoes are subject to a 15% restocking fee
Complete bicycles are not eligible for return
eBike Batteries - not eligible for return
Custom items (wheel builds, bike builds, etc) may only be returned for store credit. Complete bikes & bicycle frames may not be returned.
Return Packaging & Shipping
All items shipped to Spirited Cyclist must be properly packed, you may not ship the item back using the items retail packaging as the package (unless you received it in this manner). If any return is shipped to Spirited Cyclist using the retail packaging as the shipping box, the return is subject to a restocking fee of no less than 50% (up to 100%) based off the condition of the item. Shipping items in this manner destroys them, please place all returns inside proper sized packaging.
If you choose to refuse delivery of your order, please note this is NOT considered an acceptable return shipping method. Return shipping charges get billed to our account, which in turn will be deducted from your refund. Please ensure all returns are shipped appropriately after you have submitted our return form online. Spirited Cyclist is not responsible for any lost or damaged items that are "refused" by the customer.
If you return your item for a refund, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. If you return your item for store credit, no restocking will be deducted. Please note which method you prefer on your return form. If no return form is submitted, we will only issue store credit.

We recommend purchasing a shipping method with valid tracking. Please note Spirited Cyclist is not responsible for any return items until the carrier has a valid delivery scan to our location listed above.
If you feel we made a mistake or the item was damaged upon delivery, please contact us immediately with pictures via email at email@example.com and we will help resolve this issue.
If a customers account is determined to have excessive returns, Spirited Cyclist has the right to reject return requests.
