The S-Works Epic 8 EVO is the fastest downcountry bike in the world, representing the dressed-up, cranked-to-11 expression of the new Epic 8. Spec'd to slay downcountry terrain with an unmatched combo of capability, efficiency, and light weight. Epic 8 EVO's updated kinematics allow for insanely efficient climbing, while the Ride Dynamics-tuned shock eats up rough terrain on the way down. The bike features an S-Works FACT 12m carbon frameset with SWAT downtube storage and progressive XC race geometry optimized for wireless drivetrain and seatpost compatibility.

Capability

The Epic 8 EVO sets the bar as the most capable 120mm bike on the planet. This level of performance is made possible through a holistic development approach of geometry, chassis, kinematics, custom shock damping, and spring curve. Spec’ing a 130mm fork, trail cockpit, big brakes and meatier tires dials capability to 11.

Capability

Light Weight Integration

Epic 8 EVO gained its major capability and additional features with zero weight penalty. Through rigorous testing in our Morgan Hill, CA carbon lab, we were able to optimize tube weights while giving Epic tuned stiffness, SWAT 4.0 carrying capabilities, and a steering stop.

Light Weight Integration

Dressed to Thrill

Epic 8 EVO supports more spirited trail riding by creating a more neutral rider position with its riser bars and shorter stem. 130mm of travel up and grippy trail tires can take you to the edge, while the powerful brakes keep things in check.
