Meet the all-new Propero 4 helmet—it brings the aero advantages of the S-Works Evade 3 together with the ventilation of S-Works Prevail 3, all with the comfort and confidence Specialized helmets are famous for. Every detail of the Propero 4 was created with the equation for speed in mind: Aerodynamics + Ventilation + Lightweight = Fast.
With extensive testing in CFD and in the Win Tunnel, aerodynamics were at the forefront of Propero 4 development. The aerodynamic leading edge from the S-Works Evade 3 was incorporated directly into the Propero 4, helping it to be four watts, or 15 seconds over 40km, faster than the S-Works Prevail 3.
Drawing inspiration from the world-renowned S-Works Prevail 3, the goal was not merely to replicate but to elevate ventilation. Small 2mm offset micro-channels were introduced to create turbulence in the airflow throughout the helmet, helping to create a continuous, refreshing flow of air.
Beyond aerodynamics and ventilation, the Propero 4 represents meticulous attention to detail. Cutting-edge technologies from S-Works level helmets were incorporated, including MIPS technology for confidence and a fit system designed to deliver all-day comfort.
Propero 4
Inspired by the Best to Inspire Your Best
The Propero 4 takes its DNA from our world-renowned S-Works Evade 3 and S-Works Prevail 3. These two iconic helmets grace the heads of cycling legends like World Champion Lotte Kopecky, Demi Vollering, Remco Evenepoel, and Primož Roglič. Now, we're making the dream of racing like the pros a reality with the Propero 4—taking the technologies that deliver epic victories and making them available to any rider who wants to experience breathtaking speed.
15 Seconds Faster
We took full advantage of our CFD and our Win Tunnel to test and shape the Propero 4. The result? The Propero 4 is four watts/15 seconds faster than our S-Works Prevail 3 over 40km at 45kph.
Ventilation
Large rear vents inspried by Prevail 3 paired with small 2mm offset micro-channels create turbulence in the airflow throughout the helmet to help create a continuous, refreshing flow of air.
S-Works Experience, Distilled
Propero 4 packs S-Works inspired features with MIPS Evolve and an all-day comfort and fit—combining aero speed, cooling, and confidence in one helmet.
