Dissident 2

The Dissident 2 is a downhill mountain bike racing helmet developed in collaboration with elite athletes Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles. It combines confidence, modern styling, and breathability to meet the highest demands of competitive downhill racing. The helmet features five strategically placed EPS foam inserts that are tuned to different densities based on their location within the helmet. This construction allows the helmet to maintain a light weight while effectively managing impact energy. The softer foam density absorbs more energy during impacts, transferring less force to the rider's head. The Dissident 2 incorporates a Mips Evolve Solution that helps redirect rotational movement away from the head. This system uses fabric pocket attachments inside the helmet to reduce creakiness and bobble head effect. Ventilation was designed from the inside out, focusing on better vents rather than simply more vents. A hood scoop channels cool air into the helmet while purpose-placed vents direct warm air out, keeping your head cool and comfortable during intense riding. Weight was a critical design priority. The EPS foam insert construction keeps the helmet very light while still providing substantial protection. This lightweight design reduces fatigue and allows for faster reactions during racing. The helmet comes with an Ionic Plus Fabric anti-microbial pad kit that includes a replacement crown pad and two sizes of emergency quick-release cheek pads. It also includes a travel bag and D-Ring buckle.
