Just a free firmware update that turns the standard Specialized 3.1 motor up to 810W (that’s +22%) and 105Nm of torque. Yep… your bike is basically faster now because you pressed “Update”!
The headline: more POWER, same bike!
Here’s the big deal in normal-human terms:
- Motor power jumps to 810W (up 22% from stock)
- Torque bumps to 105Nm
- Delivered through an over-the-air update (OTA)
- Done in the Specialized app (v1.55+)

How you get it (no shop visit required… unless you want one)
This is an OTA firmware update, meaning it pushes to your bike through your phone.
What you’ll need:
- The Specialized app, updated to version 1.55 or newer
- Your Levo 4 powered on and paired
- A few minutes of patience (and a decent signal)
Open the app → connect to your bike → hit the firmware update prompt → let it do its thing. That’s it.
